Adam Smith College
Under the banner of enterprise and employability, students at the Adam Smith College benefit from the skills, knowledge and abilities within the Lomond Group of companies, learning of the many opportunities that exist within the construction industry.
Through business and education events they are advised of the various disciplines that are required to support the construction industry and the opportunities to develop a successful career.
At a business level, Lomond Group is represented on the Construction Board at Adam Smith by Director Alan Seath. This allows us to develop a hands-on roll providing the students with information and experience in a work environment. Alan has also delivered a presentation to a construction industry audience entitled ‘The Diverse and Sustainable Construction Industry’ at the Adam Smith College. More joint events with the Fife Construction Forum, Lomond Homes and the College are planned.
The College has been very supportive in providing guidance on policy development to the Lomond Group; and through close liaison and cooperation Lomond Homes has been given the opportunity to interview students with a view to employing trainees.

In the future the Lomond Group looks to develop its strong relationship with Adam Smith College, providing the students and staff with more support, opportunities, feedback and the breadth of our knowledge and experience all of which is centered on a diverse and sustainable approach to delivering quality as part of the construction industry.
