The Royal Town Planning Institute in Scotland
The Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is the industry body representing professional town and country planners. All Lomond planning staff are members of the RTPI and Lomond Groups Alan Seath is a member of the RTPI executive and Policy Committees.
The (RTPI) works directly with the Scottish Government and Scottish Parliament who preside over a separate planning system in Scotland. They also support dialogue on planning policy issues with many other Scottish public bodies, industry representatives and within the media. The RTPI provides guidance to its members on all matters linked to spatial planning including the: built environment, historic environment, natural environment, health sector, sustainable development, housing and regeneration and economic development.
